Great scholars and professors dedicated their lives in the Madrasas for learning the philosophy of Islam, the Farsi language, and more significantly, to broaden knowledge among ordinary public.
Monarchs as well as masses were educated in the Madrasas in the yester years. And even today Madrasa education in India has played a vital role in educating thousands of Muslim children. The importance of Madrasas lies in its potential to make education available to the poorer section of the society.
The central as well as the state government of India provide various facilities to make easy the Madrasa education in India. To help Muslim students get higher education, the Central government is trying to permit Madrasa students to join conventional courses in various colleges and universities.
In Bihar there is thousands of madrasas who are running among poor muslim masses,about 1300 madrasa teachers are getting Government salary, and now about 2400 madarasa has been approved by the present State Government and there teachers will be get there salary by the State Government.
After that here is so many madrasas are running where poor muslim children are getting there education, residing in madrasa and also getting free food from there, this type of madrasas are running only from public contribution and zaqat money from muslims.These types of madrasa is an only centre where poor muslim childrens get there Islamic knowledge with some modern education.
Under the banner of All India Muslim Youth Majlis madrasa is already running here in Bihar,where poor muslim boys and girls getting Islamic education and modern education,students get computer knowledge also from here. |
